Personalised Jellycat: how name embroidery works

What we do, and what we do not

The soft toy is genuine Jellycat, made by Jellycat. We are a reseller, and the embroidery is ours: we add the name after the toy reaches us. Jellycat does not personalise the toys itself.

Choosing the look

Each product page has a gallery showing the font style and colours. Pick your thread colour from the options, or choose no embroidery if you would rather have the toy on its own.

Thread has a minimum practical size, so a first name works best. Long names can look cramped, so WhatsApp us first if you are unsure whether a name will fit.

Timing

Allow 7 to 9 working days from the date you order. That is making time only, so add delivery on top. For a fixed occasion, order at least two weeks out, and message us first if it is tighter than that.

Before you confirm

• Check the spelling, then check it again. We stitch exactly what you send.
• Decide on capitalisation. "Ellie" and "ELLIE" read very differently on a toy.
• Pick a thread colour that shows up, especially on pale toys.
• Confirm the toy size. Jellycat sizes vary a lot, and a name looks different on a small bunny than on a large one.

Safety

Most of our Jellycat product pages state that the toy is tested to and complies with EN71, ASTM and ISO 8124. Check the page for the toy you are buying.

Returns on personalised toys

Personalised items and soft toys cannot be returned, for hygiene and safety reasons. If a toy arrives damaged or faulty, send us a photo with your order number within 7 days and we arrange a free collection, then a refund or replacement.
